At Silvon, Software Engineers are involved in all aspects of the application lifecycle from product inception through design, programming, testing, documentation review, and assisting with customer support. As such, Software Engineers receive a wide range of assignments and responsibilities.
Our currently available Software Engineer position will focus primarily on the development of our zero footprint, browser based client application. The application has components coded in C#, VB.Net, ASP, and Javascript and accesses data from both relational data structures in SQL Server and multi-dimensional data structures in Analysis Services. Object orientated development processes are followed with an emphasis on object / database modeling and code reuse.
To be successful in this role, applicants must be highly motivated, independent workers with a capacity to learn quickly. A strong commitment to object orientated principles and adherence to standards is important. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment is critical.
Job title, Software Engineer or Sr. Software Engineer, will be dependent upon applicant experience.
