(IDS), the leader in software solutions for food distributors, today announced that it has formed a strategic alliance with Silvon Software to bring a robust, totally integrated business intelligence solution to IDS' food distribution customers. The new solution adopts Silvon's award-winning data warehousing technology and analytic software applications for sales performance management, customer analysis and other business performance management areas. It will be marketed by IDS under the name, IDS Power Facts.
