The new product leverages Microsoft and Cizer Excel engine technology and is designed to help users of Silvon’s DataTracker™ and Stratum™ applications to create, schedule and broadcast key analytical reports to internal and external parties.
“Stratum.InfoCast was designed to give our customers an immediate return on investment by allowing them to quickly create and automate delivery of all Silvon-generated analytical reports to business users with minimal requirements on IT resources,” said Michael J. Hennel, president and CEO of Silvon. “Plus, it provides the added benefit of allowing our customers to maximize the efficiencies of their channels and supply chains by creating and delivering critical reports interactively to important customers, suppliers and other partners.”
With Stratum.InfoCast, reports may be created and modified by using pre-defined, Microsoft Excel-based reporting templates. Users have the option of receiving reports in a variety of industry-standard formats and delivery options. For example, a PDF or Excel file can be sent via e-mail to users who are interested in printing their reports or viewing information on screen. Alternatively, users may elect to receive notification via e-mail to link to a browser to view reports and interact with the data. Built-in Stratum.Infocast security controls what users see and which reports they can access. As reports are modified within the browser environment, they can be saved and scheduled for future delivery.
