The IBM eServer systems, introduced by IBM earlier today, are powered by IBM's breakthrough Silicon-on-Insulator (SOI) microprocessor technology and run the new AIX 5L operating system.
Silvon's announced support of the new IBM eServer p660 and p620 servers follows the company's February 26, 2001, announcement to support the IBM pSeries platform in its continuing commitment to provide supply chain industry customers with an open, cross-platform architecture. Silvon's Stratum™ solutions are designed to monitor business performance indicators such as product profitability, customer purchasing patterns, customer loyalty, web site performance and marketing campaign effectiveness.
