Stratum™ V6.3 Lets Users Explore Their Budgets, Plans and Business Intelligence Data Using Familiar Web Interface (Now iPad-Compatible)

Westmont, IL – October 3, 2013 — Silvon Software, Inc. has issued a Controlled Release of Version 6.3 of its Stratum™ business intelligence software suite — further enhancing the ability for sales reps, executives and others to run their Stratum analytics and update their budget and plan data directly on iPad devices. More than 1,800 manufacturing and distribution businesses worldwide in the Food & Beverage, CPG, Publishing, Packaging and other industries use Stratum for operational planning, business intelligence and performance management.

Stratum V6.3 Highlights

Stratum “On Safari”
Version 6.3 of Stratum now supports the Safari browser. With simple swipes and taps to an iPad screen, users can explore their BI data by drilling up or down in it – and by sorting and filtering the data. Plus, they can update budget and planning data directly from an iPad device.

Dynamic Data Capabilities
Stratum V6.3 better integrates a near real-time environment to reflect the current state of a user’s BI data at any given time. This ensures that time-sensitive data such as Inventory or Open Orders stays as current as possible.

Excel File Viewing
In Stratum V6.3, Excel files that originate from Stratum via its “Actions” or “Export to Excel” functionality can be viewed on an iPad in Quick Look.

Additional, Customer-Driven Functionality
Other features designed to further enhance the Stratum user experience are included in Silvon’s latest product release, many of them as a result of direct customer feedback.

Windows & SQL Server Certifications
Version 6.3 of the Stratum web interface is certified to support Windows Server 2012 and SQL Server 2012, along with Windows Server 2008 R2 and SQL Server 2008 R2.
