Westmont, IL – May 19, 2014 — Business intelligence (BI) solution provider Silvon Software, Inc. has been named to the 2014 Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100. This is the 12th consecutive year in which Silvon has earned a spot on the ‘SDCE 100’ since the awards program was launched in 2002 by Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine.

According to Barry Hochefelder, the magazine’s editor, the 2014 Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 consists of supply chain solution and service providers that are helping their clients achieve supply chain excellence. Silvon was the only BI software vendor with a supply chain competency to make the list. A collaborative planning, sales analysis and inventory performance reporting project undertaken on behalf of a leading U.S.-based snack foods producer was Silvon’s winning, nominated project out of more than 200 projects submitted for consideration in this year’s SDCE 100.

“Since we launched our first sales analysis system 26 years ago, Silvon has been committed to providing packaged BI analytics that give supply chain companies the business insight they need to both improve and grow in a complex, highly competitive market,” said Mike Hennel, President of Silvon. “We’re thrilled to be recognized again by the management team and editorial staff of Supply & Demand Chain Executive as a “100” leader and look forward to introducing some more advanced applications this year to further enhance the value that our customers receive from their Silvon BI investments.
